Laura Mae Ahee (Gable)'s Obituary
Laura Mae Ahee, also known as Dooby, passed away on October 9, 2023, in Anniston, Alabama, at the age of 75. She was born on June 19, 1948, in Villa Rica, Georgia, to her parents Lillian and Clyde Gable. Laura was preceded in death by her mother, father, brothers David, Willard, Roger, Clyde Jr., sister Betty, and her husband Henry Ahee Sr.
Laura will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her son Kenneth Gable, son Henry Ahee Jr. (Robert), son Carl Ahee, daughter-in-law Sherry Ahee, daughter-in-law Amie Ahee, as well as her 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In her educational journey, Laura completed her primary schooling up to the 9th grade. She then dedicated herself to her career, working at Ramada Inn on Quintard for many years and later at Motel 6 in Oxford during the 90s. Laura found joy and fulfillment in her work as a housekeeper throughout her life.
