Larry Eugene Owens' Obituary
Larry Eugene Owens, 67, of Ohatchee, Al. passed away February 6, 2026, surrounded by family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Grady Eugene Ford; his mother, Flora Virginia Yateman; and his brother Henry James Ford.
He is survived by those who loved him dearly; his brothers, Rodney Grady Ford and Donald Ray Ford; his children Larry Joseph Owens, Robin Sloan, Shawn Owens, and Larry Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He loved fishing and all outdoors. He had many friends whom he enjoyed spending time with, and his love and loyalty to his family and friends were unwavering. Larry shared an extremely close and incomparable bond with his brothers.
Larry made a great impact in his lifetime on all who knew and loved him. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering. He is now with his Heavenly Father, made new, and reunited with all those he loved who have gone on before him. Until we meet again, he will forever remain in our hearts.
