You were the best father-in-law anyone could have asked for. I have so many fond memories of the time we got to spend together that it’s hard to choose just one. I will forever remember how we would sit and talk for hours about things ranging from sports, to policing, to the military, and the books we were both currently reading. I looked up to you so much and had a tremendous amount of respect for the accomplishments you achieved in your lifetime. I will miss you more than you could possibly realize, but thank you for everything that you have taught me.

I remember this first time you took me hunting. I was 5 years old in the picture and was too young to go but I always remember being so excited when you pulled back in the driveway to see what “trophies” you had brought back! We finally got to go when I was in the 6th grade. You took me to Henry County and we sat in a tree stand for hours. Finally, around sunset a big spike buck walked out into the field from the woods. You took the perfect shot! It was very exciting and we got the deer mounted. Thank you for all of the life experiences you have shown me. I love you and will always miss you! 🙏🏻❤️
