Kenneth Wayne Howell's Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Howell, lovingly known as “Wayne,” passed away on April 17, 2026, at his home, surrounded by those who loved him most.
Wayne was a devoted father, grandfather, partner, and friend. He shared over 20 meaningful years with his life partner, Stephanie Johnson, who stood by his side through life’s many seasons. Together, they built a life full of love, loyalty, and memories that will be cherished forever.
Wayne was a hardworking and dedicated man who owned and operated a plumbing business for over 38 years. He took great pride in his work and built not only a business, but lasting relationships along the way. One of his most special bonds was with Elijah Conkel, who he loved like a little brother.
In his free time, Wayne found joy in riding his motorcycles, going on cruises, and spending time in church. His faith and the simple things in life brought him peace and happiness.
He is survived by his children, Jamie Davis (Amber Davis), and Whitley Money (Nic Money). He also held a special place in his heart for his bonus children, Brinton Johnson and Seanna Johnson.
Wayne was a proud grandfather to Merritt Johnson, Kyleigh Howell, Blaykly Howell, Easton Harris, Emmett Money, Cole Money, Trent Waters, Camron Money, Jessica Money, Sawyer Davis, and Jolee Howell. His grandchildren brought him immense joy and were one of the greatest blessings of his life.
He is also survived by his parents, Kenneth and Nellie Howell; his brothers, Gary Howell and Greg Howell (Becky Howell); his sister, Debbie Howell; and his uncle, Eddie Butler.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Suzy Howell; and his grandparents, Robert and Desmer Butler, and Henry and Mazelle Howell.
Wayne will be remembered for the kind of man he was—strong, hardworking, loving, and deeply devoted to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the many lives he touched along the way. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
