Kendall DeWayne Bean's Obituary
Kendall DeWayne Bean, age 67, passed away on April 27, 2026. Born on May 29, 1958, in Anniston, Alabama, Ken was a man rooted in faith, family, and the simple joys of life.
He retired from Anniston Army Depot after years of dedicated work. Ken grew up in the Church of Christ and carried a strong, steady faith in God throughout his life—a faith that sustained him and those who loved him.
Ken is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Stinson; his three grandchildren, Leigha, TJ, and Elijah Stinson, who lovingly called him “Pop”; his parents, Harold and Pattie Bean; his brother, Marty Bean and wife Lesley; his nieces, Brooklyn and Lexie; and his nephew, Brody.
He was a man of many talents and quiet passions. Ken found joy in fishing, playing guitar, painting, and cooking—especially cooking for those he loved. He rarely missed a chance to watch Alabama football, cheering them on with the same loyalty he showed his family and friends.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in the many good memories they shared and in knowing he is now healed after a long illness.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Amedisys Hospice Care of Rainbow City for the compassion and care shown during his final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association in his memory.
