Kelvin Warren Hendrix's Obituary
Mr. Kelvin Warren Hendrix, age 72, of Gadsden, Alabama, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Mr. Hendrix was born on October 9, 1953, in Gadsden, Alabama, to the late Rev. D.E. Hendrix and Ruby Oliver Hendrix. He was a 1972 graduate of Gadsden High School and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 24 years of dedicated service.
Kelvin will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and wonderful sense of humor. He was always ready with a joke or funny story and had a special way of bringing laughter and comfort to those around him. His gentle spirit and unwavering love for his family will be treasured always.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Carrie Speck (Chris) of Lynn Haven, Florida, and Christa Benefield of Glencoe, Alabama; five granddaughters, Laurel Floyd (Devin), Laney Billingsley, Madison Speck, Bryden Speck, and Keelin Benefield; four great-grandchildren, Cainen and Minlee Floyd, and Rowyn and Easton Billingsley; his sister, Annette Beshears (Roger) of Curtiston, Alabama; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A private celebration of Mr. Hendrix's life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
