Keith Crews Robertson, 69, of Anniston passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 6, 1957, and was a lifelong resident of Anniston, Alabama.
He is survived by his son, Taylor (Samantha), and brother, Scott (Lori).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Estelle Robertson, and his sister, Susan.
Keith cared deeply for those around him and their well-being. He never met a stranger and was always someone you could depend on to brighten up a room or be a shoulder to cry on when you needed it most.
Throughout his life, he held a variety of positions, ranging from lifeguarding to sales, as well as a tenure as the Athletic Director at Sacred Heart Catholic School, but his true passion was officiating youth sports. He also served as a district director for both football and baseball, as well as an umpire camp instructor for the Alabama High School Athletic Association. Keith also worked many games at the collegiate level in Division I-AA and Division II. Through this lifetime of service, he touched the lives of countless individuals who will miss him deeply.
A visitation will be held Friday 7/24 from 6:30pm - 9:30pm, with a Funeral Mass to follow on Saturday 7/25 @ 11am, both to be held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Anniston.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alabama Sports Officials Foundation (ASOF) in memory of Keith Robertson.
