Keith James Gray's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of Keith James Gray announce his passing. He peacefully departed this life on Friday, January 10, 2025, surrounded by his family in his last moments. Keith was born and raised in Catlett, Virginia. He was a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a friend to many. He was a hard worker, and conscientious man. He retired from the United States Postal Service in Manassas, Virginia, and was always proud of the years he had served.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene F. Gray, Sr. and Christine E. Gray. It is a blessing that Keith received God’s grace and is now in heaven with his family.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Gina Gray; his brother Eugene Gray, Jr. and his wife Frances Gray; his sons Steven Gray, Manuel Canencia, and Troy Canencia; his daughters Amber Gray, and Migue Canencia; his eight grandchildren, Anthony Gray, Austin Gray, Rylee Gray, Benjamin Gray, Alexis Streetman, Ashleigh Aycock, Skylar Jackson, and Calvin Canencia; his six great grandchildren, Logan Gray, Alana Gray, William Aycock, Kayson Jackson, Kelan Jackson, and Kyndal Jackson; his nephews, nieces, and cousins; and along with countless friends who felt his love and generosity. He will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to know and love him.
Keith adored his pets; dogs-Lea and Leo, and a cat-Max. He took care of them with pride and joy.
The Family of the late Keith J. Gray wishes to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, prayers and all acts of kindness extended to them during their hours of bereavement.
There will be a visitation at 4:00pm, followed by a Holy Mass at 5:00pm, for those who would like to say their last goodbye to Keith on the 17th of January, 2025, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1301 Golden Spring Rd, Anniston, AL 36207. Fr. John McDonald officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial tree be planted in Keith's honor.
