Karen Mackey's Obituary
Karen Mackey, a beloved mother and grandmother, died unexpectedly on August 15, 2021.
Karen is survived by her daughters: Lorinda Mackey, Jamie Mayhall (Tyson), and Jenny Parker (Sean Graham); her grandchildren: Makayla Mackey, Haiden Mayhall, and Hollyn Mayhall; Her brothers: Don Wright and Darrin Wright; and many nieces and nephews.
Karen was born on July 12, 1958 to Daniel and Ruth Wright. Karen professed Jesus Christ as her lord and savior. She spent her life dedicated to her children and her grandchildren. She was a great friend to everyone who knew her and she was able to touch so many lives with her straight forward and loving personality. She enjoyed camping, PePe’s special, and spending as much time as she could with her family. Her favorite hobby was spoiling her grandkids.
A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church 2390 Pleasant Valley Rd Union Grove, AL 35175 on Saturday August 21st at 2 o’clock. Pastor Clint Maze will officiate.
In Lieu of flowers the family is accepting contributions to make a donation to St. Jude in Memory of Karen.
