Sandy Goodman Short
Judith and I attended Southern Baptist Theological Seminary together and became friends. She and I lived and worked in Louisville after graduation. She was such a gifted student and scholar. She loved theology and teaching. Judith was a faithful friend. She loved to write poetry and stories and play the organ. It was such a joy to attend her graduation when she received her Doctorate degree. She was the first woman to receive her Doctorate in Theology at SBTS. Her Dad reminded me and my husband of this fact throughout the weekend! He was so very proud. Oh, my dear friend I will miss you so very much. I give thanks for our long friendship and your caring. Be at peace and enjoy the eternal care of our Heavenly Father. Well done faithful servant and friend. You are loved and admired.
