Joseph Michael Grooms, age 63 of Ashville, passed away on July 17, 2024, at Riverview Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Grooms; son, Shannon Kitchens; grandson, Chevy Kitchens; sister, Tammie Banks; nieces and nephews, Jonathon Justin Lee Banks, Andrew Corey Lee Banks, James Wesley Stewart Banks, and Jessica Doris Ann Banks; great nieces and nephews, Hunter Corey Cason, Brantley Lee Cason, Addie Whyard, Eli Banks and Emory Banks.
A memorial service will be announced at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Pell City.
