He is survived by one Aunt, Ludie Mae Vincent, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents Lester Lee Trussell and Lillian Rebecca Tankersley Trussell; brother, Bobby Lee Trussell; sisters; Rebecca Ann Trussell Hallman, Nancy Jean Trussell Denton; three nephews, Charles "Peanut" Hallman, James Edward Hallman, Bobby Lee Trussell II and by his niece, Deborah Elizabeth Johnson Chandler.
