John Herman Priest's Obituary
John R. Herman Priest passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 in Anniston, Alabama. He was a beloved father, devoted husband, loving grandfather, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Ronda Priest and his children: Penny (Terry) Martin, Jackie Watters, Frieda Hayner, Sandra (Danny) Yates, Janie (Hardy) David, John Priest Jr., and Johnny Dean (Hoby) Prifogle; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren each of which he was so proud of.
John loved his animals, his family, the outdoors, and tinkering in his shop. He was a hard worker who retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad Company.
The family wishes to express appreciation to all who have sent warm wishes as they begin this new journey together without John's loving presence.
