John Stanley Boykin's Obituary
John "Stanley" Boykin passed away under the Blood of Jesus on August 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents John R. ( J.R.) Boykin & Clara Medders Boykin & brother Gary Boykin. He is survived by his loving wife Melanie & sister Janice (Tims) Dowdle 2 nephews Jonathan Dowdle & Chris Dowdle, niece Michelle Boykin Callaham, & a host of friends. Stanley never met a stranger. When he made friends, he made them for life. His infectious laugh is well known with all who knew him.
Stanley was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, which he loved. He once said he use to love going to Walmart, now he loved going to Sunday School. He definitely was a welcome addition to the Family of God.
Stanley was a welder by trade, he owned Boykin Fab shop & was known for his artistic designs, especially handrails. His work is in many homes, churches, businesses & government offices. He mentored many young men, teaching them the trade he loved.
He also enjoyed very much riding his Harley with his buddies.
A memorial service in his honor will be September 11, 2022 at Calvary Baptist church in Oxford, Alabama at 1pm. Please come to celebrate his life and honor this wonderful man who meant so much to so many people.
