Joey Chris Ledbetter's Obituary
Joey Chris Ledbetter, age 63 of Weaver, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, after a surprisingly short battle with cancer, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Buckhanan; daughters, Misty Wilkerson (Tommie) and Delta Messer (Bradley); grandchildren, Brooklyn Messer, Julia Wilkerson and Lacey Messer; mother, Mary Ledbetter; brothers, Danny Ledbetter (Betsy), Jerry Ledbetter (Bambi), Ronnie Ledbetter, Hollis Ledbetter, Charles Ledbetter, and Billy Ledbetter; sisters, Carolyn Pledger (Charles), Judy Aguiar (Joe) and Diane Oyer; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Ledbetter; brother, Jeff Ledbetter; and sister, Lisa Martin.
Joey worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for most of his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting and hauling scrap metal. He was a wonderful father and husband.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
