I met JoAnne in Nursing School in the 80’s. We became fast friends. We went to Montgomery for Nursing Boards together. Over the years we shared so many happy and fun times. Mike came along on most of our adventures laughing and joking with us. We lost touch over the years but, I always thought of her as a dear and beloved friend! I will miss her. Go rest high on that mountain. Until we meet again.

Nanny always taught us to put family first and her love of birds, her dogs, and all animals were passed on to all her knew her. I still love to watch for birds and will always think of you when I see a cardinal.
I remember my grandmother making the best chicken and dumplings, monkey bread, and cornbread I have ever had. Sleepovers were always so fun as we got to watch movies till late. Nanny was always so fun to be around and I will miss her dearly. Please save a spot for me at Gods dinner table and have some of your chicken and dumplings waiting.
