Jimmy Lee Hammonds' Obituary
Jimmy Hammonds, 76, of Talladega passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2020. He was born
on January 17, 1944 to his parents, Leonard and Sallie Hammonds. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Jerry Smith Hammonds, his brother Donald (Judy)
Hammonds and his grandson, Patrick Hayden Henshaw.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Deborah Reaves Hammonds, his daughter, Robin Hammonds (Pat) Henshaw, and son Brian Hammonds. Mr.
Hammonds had two stepchildren, Craig (Carrie) Goodson and Kimberly (Paul) Saint. He is survived by four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren as well as five step-grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
Mr. Hammonds loved living on the water of Logan Martin and the community surrounding it. He was the owner/operator of Hammonds Body Shop in Pell City for more than thirty-eight years. He was a friend of many and beloved by all.
