Jerre (Pat) Champion's Obituary
Mr. Jerre (Pat) Patrick Champion Sr. passed away at his home Anniston on January 28th, 2021.
Mr. Champion was an Anniston native who enlisted in the US Navy in 1961 at the age of 17. After serving his country for four years Mr. Champion returned home a Vietnam Veteran with an Honorable Discharge. After a 25 year long career at the Anniston Army Depot, Pat retired in 2000.
Pat is survived by his son, Jerre P. Champion Jr.(Loretta Champion), stepson, Terry Smith (Annie Smith), his grandchildren, Michael Champion (Sarah Jones) and Gracie Champion, his great-grandchildren, Madison Champion, Carter Ortiz, Logan Champion and Maxwell Jones. All of whom he loved and cared for dearly.
Mr. Champion was a Patriot and a family man with a special love for muscle cars that will be greatly missed.
