Jason Allen Barnwell's Obituary
Mr. Jason Allen Barnwell also known by Birdie was born Dec 5th, 1978, he was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County where he was very well known for his “OUTSPOKEN” personality. Jason had a strong passion for gold mining, collecting antique items of many kinds, and motorcycles. He went and received his certificate in auto paint and repair. His dream was to one day open his own shop and leave it for his four nieces.
If you knew Jason personally you knew he fought his demons with mental health, BUT when he was good, he was the kindest and funniest person around he would say the most random things and keep you laughing, give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Jason loved picking flowers for the women in his life that was his love language.
Jason passed Aug 29th, 2025, at the resident of his mothers. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Mary-Kathryn Barnwell, his uncle Barry Lynn Barnwell, and cousin Misty Nicole Barnwell.
He is survived by his grandfather Lehman Barnwell, his Mother Kathy Christopher two sister Kristin Pate (Jeromie Martin) Morgan Barnwell (James Crow) four niece Kaydence Crow, Starr Pate, Kathryn Crow, and Kaylynn Pate Two uncles Richard Barnwell (Susie Barnwell) Ronny Barnwell (Dionne Barnwell) and a group of cousins. Brandon, Juanita, Ivy, Leighann Tyler Drew Hope, Izak Ryan, Brandi Brooklyn Maddie, Zack, Candi, Joe, Alexis, Jasper, Nova, Ben, and Brett
The family would like to give a huge thank you to Hollis's fire and rescue, CCEMS and CCSO for doing all that you guys could to save him you guys are truly a blessing and we pray that the good lord gives each one of you the strength to keep begin others back bones when they can't and blesses you with all your hearts desires.
