A celebration of life for Janet Haynes will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at her son‘s residence in Eastaboga. It will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Anyone wishing to attend, please reach out to the family members to get the address. Ms. Janet Haynes Ray went to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born on March 31, 1959 to Yelverton Eugene Haynes and Jeannie Pauline Haynes.
She is survived by her son, Shannon Ray(LaDonna); daughter, Stephanie Ray(Eddie); grandchildren, Joel Ray, Madison Shipe(Ty), Hunter Ray(Courtney) Lexi Howell, and Coleman Johnson; great grandchildren Adalee Shipe, Daxson Shipe, Kamdyn Ray, Major Hurt, and Axel Ray; sisters, Tammy Jackson, Heather Johnson, Kayla Haynes, and Kayla Allan; brothers, Keith Haynes, and Danny Haynes; and several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her father Eugene Haynes; brother Tommy Haynes; and grandmother, “Mama Coleman”.
Ms. Ray was a lifelong resident of the Anniston area. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
