Janet Carole Erickson's Obituary
Janet Carole Erickson, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, peacefully passed away on March 30, 2025, in Ohatchee, Alabama. She was born on May 14, 1938, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Janet is reunited in eternal rest with her husband, John Iver Erickson Sr, her sons, Christopher Paul Erickson and William Curtice Erickson, her parents, William Curtice Fowler and Willie Maude Fowler, and her sister, Sharon Gwendalyn Mercer.
Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her surviving family, including her son, John Iver Erickson Jr (Traci), her daughter, Christina Wilkie (Tony), and her nieces, Sharon Gagliard (Daniel) and Ruthann Quinn (Shawn). She was also a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren: Kimberly and Thorsten Hill, Jason Wilkie, Aaron and Shelby Wilkie, Kristi and Dee Martin, Phillip and Jacob Erickson, Lori and James Melvin, Jennifer and Eugene Catalano, and Mallori McDowell. Her love extended to her nine great-grandchildren: Erick and Caden, Destiny and Jasmine, Evelyn and John, Brody and Gavin, and Gunner.
Janet's warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed but forever treasured by all who knew and loved her.
