Jamie, made my job so easy when I would see him. We laughed, we argued, we’d carry on with each other, he truly made 3 days a week much brighter even for a hour. I always felt just a small amount of pride “teaching him his manners” as I called it. But truth be told I would have likely helped that man get away with any crime. I always felt like the feeling was mutual with him. He reminded me often why I chose this line of work. Even on the days he wanted to fuss. I will miss him so very much. When I get to heaven I hope he’s the second one in line for me, bc I’m sure my grandmother would knock him down to get to me❤️ I love you Jamie and will miss you dearly.

I remember Jamie always being there at school things with Teri and always involved with everything Judith and Zane. He was one of few people who joined in on the fitness class Teri got going for us in Waco and the family playdates we had on the city hall track and playground. Jamie usually outran us all! He was a neighbor friend and I greatly admired what a wonderful husband and father he was to his family.

Although I was his hospice nurse for only a short while, I am so grateful our paths crossed. It was an honor to care for him and witness the love his family had for him. I’m truly glad to have met you and will carry the memory of that time with me.

Dad you were so much fun. I va e so many memories from my childhood to adulthood. You were the absolute best PopPop Cora Jane could have ever had. We miss you dearly, the house is very quite and we just keep waiting do you for wake up from a nap and one around the corner asking what we’re eating. Cora Jane danced with you and sang beside you before the nurse got there. She sang y’all’s song Just a Swangin’. Have fun up there with your momma and siblings as well as John and John and all you old Carrollton buddies. I cannot wait to see you again and in a completely healed body!

It is very hard for me to share a memory of my brother who I loved so much!!. 💔 I have so many but one I always told him that I knew when you was born. I told him I told mama I hear a baby crying and that was you!!! I have so many more memories 😢 But God knows Best!!
