James Rufus Robinson's Obituary
James Rufus Robinson of Pine Mountain Alabama, was born on March 2nd, 1950, and passed away on March 18th, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.
James grew up on Pine Mountain and spent a large part of life there. He graduated from Locust Fork High School and entered the U.S. Army afterwards. He returned from Vietnam in 1971 and married Nita Tawbush Robinson.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James Oliver Robinson and Virginia Taylor Robinson and his sister Norlotta Cook (Harold).
He is survived by his children, Amy Richardson (Phillip), and Stacie Summerrow (Terry); Grandchildren, Lauren King (Jake) and Kassidy Richardson; and siblings, Freddy Robinson (Amy), Lelia Lee (Ronnie), and Carolyn Greer (late Gary Greer).
