James Claburne Owens Sr.'s Obituary
James Claburne "Jim" Owens, age 91 of Fruithurst, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Owens; and his daughter, Beth Foshee. Jim is survived by his son, Clay Owens (Lorrie); grandchildren, Caleb Foshee (Merissa), Mollie Corley (Justin), and Noah Hulsey; and great grandchildren, Layton and Grayson Foshee, and Archer Corley.
Jim Owens was a graduate of Cleburne County High School. He attended JSU and joined the Air Force for a two year duty. He sold Maytag Laundries for 35 years.
