James E. McDaniel's Obituary
James E. McDaniel, age 91 of Gadsden, passed away on September 3, 2024, at his residence.
He is survived by his son, James E. McDaniel, II; step son, Danny Rubrigi; sister, Frances Harrell; and grandchildren, Justine McDaniel, Benji Rubrigi, and Shaylin Shylick.
Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth McDaniel; and daughter, Kathy McDaniel.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He retired as a sheet metal worker, Union Local 48, Birmingham. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery in Gadsden.
