James "Jamie" Ray Drummond's Obituary
Jamie Drummond, 66, of Riverside, AL, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
Jamie was retired from Super Value and the City of Oxford, AL and enjoyed spending time fishing, watching Bama football, feeding the deer in his yard, and relaxing in the peace and quiet of his home.
Jamie loved the Lord and was a devout Christian. He prayed and read his Bible daily. He was a spiritual leader, provider, and companion for his wife, Melissa.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Melissa Wilson Drummond; sister, Lisa Drummond Mooseman; nephew, Phillip (Cassie) Reddish; niece, Kathy Reddish; step children, Josh (Hannah) McCormick and Megan (James) Preves; and step grandchildren, Kase Preves, and Winter McCormick.
Jamie was preceded in death by his parents, James "Penny" Drummond and Joyce Malone Drummond.
Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service and celebration of life which will be held in Jamie's honor at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 7435 Howell Cove Rd. Talladega.
