Jackie Earl Brannon's Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of Jackie Earl Brannon of Anniston, Alabama. He passed at age 68 on December 14, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Jackie was known for his tall-tales and if you are lucky enough you were part of one. During the Christmas season, he morphed into the best Santa Claus brining joy to many. He enjoyed creating hilarious songs that he would perform to his family - wife, Cathy Renfroe Brannon, daughters - Amanda (Jason) Rudat, Jaclyn Lacey (Dave) Clanton, and Jessica (Josh) Jones, brother - Eddie (Donna) Brannon, all his grandkids - Jacey Claire Rudat, Beckett Trucks Clanton, Birdie Davis Clanton, Jackie Stanley Jones, and James Earl Jones, niece - Carly Prestridge, and beloved dog, Toby. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Earl and Clois Bishop Brannon, sister, Patsy Austin, and nephew, Colt Austin.
A service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Sunny Eve Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors at 3:00 PM.
