J. Glen Key's Obituary
J. Glen key was born on Sept. 24, 1947 in Marshall County. Alabama. His soul flew away to eternal rest on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025. His earthly body will be cremated and per his instructions, no public service will be held. His family will celebrate his life at a later date.
Glen is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith F. Key; daughter, Ginger Key Chandler (Shane); granddaughter, Amanda Chandler Arnold (Wesley); and 4 great grandsons, Chandler, Elliott, Barnes, and Morgan; sister, Diane Key; niece, Kimberly Williamson (Ken Keller); mother-in-law, Lucille Burks, sisters-in-law, Alice Pointer Geer (John) and Anita Elliott (Jerry Patrick).
He was predeceased by his parents, Wiley and Nell Key; his father-in-law, Edward L. Burks; brother-in-law, Glen C. Burks; grandparents; and a nephew, Damon Hamilton.
Glen was a sweet, good Christian man who loved God, his family, quail hunting, fishing in Orange Beach, watching the waves in Gulf Shores, old black & white westerns, and the great grandsons who called him grandpa. He was a member of the Jacksonville Church of Christ and retired from M & H Valve in Anniston.
