Howard Earl Walden's Obituary
Mr. Howard Earl Walden, 66 of Anniston, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Walden and Dollie Hubbard Walden.
Howard is survived by is wife of 46 years, Lora Walden; daughter, Patricia O'Dell; son, Jonathan Walden (Amber); grandchildren, Amber Threlkeld, Blake O'Dell (Eika), Ryan O'Dell, Ruby Walden, Jon Robert Walden and Reaves Walden; and great-grandchild, Emma Threlkeld.
Howard was born January 31, 1954, and was one of 12 children. He was a proud Native American, Cherokee, and was a member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama. Howard was a Mason and was a past Master of Masonic Lodge #443, Anniston, Alabama, and was a member of the Anniston York Rite Bodies. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked in civil service at the Anniston Army Depot. Howard was an avid fisherman, enjoyed wood-working, traveling, loved the outdoors, and loved his family.
