Hollis Knight Crosson's Obituary
Hollis Knight Crosson, age 86, born October 29, 1934 passed away peacefully at home January 13, 2021 after battling Alzheimers for many years.
Mr. Crosson graduated from Cleburne County High School and went to work at Sears Roebuck and raced cars every chance he got. He went into business for himself selling, buying and rebuilding cars for many years. The last 32 years he was an Owner/Operator with Landstar Transportation when he retired at age 80.
Mr. Crosson is preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Crosson and Ruth Knight Crosson, brothers Donald Crosson, Larry Crosson and daughter, Kathy Crosson Wallace.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Fissel Crosson, son John Thomas Crosson and wife Donna, Stepson Stanley Fissel, Jr. and wife Tracy, Stepdaughter Victoria Attkisson and grandchildren, Dustin Wallace, Kristin Wallace, Madison Attkisson, Jordan Crosson, Josh Fissel and Maia Fissel.
The family would like to thank the Kindred Hospice and nurse, Chris Winn for their kindness. In lieu of flowers a request is made for a tribute gift to the League for Animal Welfare, 2726 Bynum Leatherwood Road, Anniston, Al 36201
The family is having a Celebration Service at the Western Sizzlin Restaurant in Oxford, Al meeting room at 4pm Friday January 22, 2021 masks are requested but not required.
