Hayward "Lee" Roland's Obituary
Mr. Hayward “Lee” Roland, age 86 of Kellyton, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joel and Millie Roland; sisters, Lou Adams, Katie Brown and Betty Blades; brother, Willie Joe Roland; and step daughter, Hope Delia.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Heidi Roland; daughter, Jennifer (Edward) Caniente; grandson, Jasper Caniente; step daughter, Billie Lacey; grandson, Christopher Lacey; great grandson, Deanna Drew and Hadley Lacey; brothers, Fred Roland and Harold Roland; sister, Mary Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
Lee loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed attending church. He had a passion for working and was known as a “work addict”. He was retired from Kingsford Charcoal and he and Heidi were Park Attendants for the Corps of Engineers campsites for 15 years.
