Gregory Alan Ward's Obituary
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Polly Reavis and Walter Ward Sr.; his brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Ginger Ward; and his loved one, Ronald Deeds.
He is survived by his siblings, Royce (Bobbie) Smith and Kim (Jim) Dawson; several beloved nieces and nephews; his faithful dogs, Daisy, Fuzzy, and Gadget; and his close friends, James Ford and Travis Watkins.
Greg will be remembered for his generous heart and his unforgettable wit and sense of humor. He was lovingly cared for during his final months by his niece, Sarah Edwards, and her husband, Jeremy Edwards, and also adored his nephew, Joseph Trinity Ward.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to MICU nurse Serena at Gadsden Regional Medical Center for her kindness and compassionate care, as well as to Pastor Bruce Word, who guided Greg as he re-dedicated his life to Christ in the days preceding his passing.
In Greg's memory, love one another, show kindness freely, and never forget the unconditional love of a good dog. The world could use a little more of each.
