Grady Lee Covington Jr., age 56, of Piedmont, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on March 17, 2026.
Grady was a devoted Christian whose faith in God was the foundation of his life. He was a strong believer who carried his love for the Lord in all that he did, and his faith remained steadfast through every season. He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and the genuine care he showed to others.
He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, especially talking with them and staying connected. He also enjoyed watching football, a pastime that brought him both excitement and comfort.
Grady is survived by his two sons, Tanner Covington and Brandon Covington, and his sister, Shelba Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Covington Sr. and Sylvia Covington.
He will be remembered for his strong faith, loving heart, and the deep love he had for his family.
