Glenda Kay Beaird's Obituary
Glenda Kay Beaird, age 75, born on June 26, 1950, passed away on February 11, 2026, at UAB in Jefferson County, Alabama.
Ms. Beaird retired from BAE Systems, where she contributed to the development of army tanks, and previously was involved in the manufacturing of military dress uniforms. She cherished spending time with her family, enjoyed taking long drives, traveling to Georgia for lottery tickets, thrifting, and watching her favorite game shows.
She is survived by her children, Donnie & Stephanie Phillips, Cindy & Dan Adams, and Cory & Lindsey Noe; her fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; her brother, Jacky Turley Sr., and sister, Kris Strickland; her best friend, Yvonne Creek; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ms. Beaird was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Betty Turley; her sister, Brenda Norris; and her brothers, Ricky Turley Sr. and Randy Turley.
A memorial service will be held in The Chapel at Cremation Services of East Alabama on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Friends and family are welcome to join for visitation beginning at 2:00 PM until the time of service.
