Geoffrey Jansen Todd's Obituary
Geoffrey J. Todd, 79, of Weaver Alabama passed away at his home July 7, 2026 from a hard fought battle with vascular dementia.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Todd of Weaver; his sons, Geoffrey Todd (Kalicia) of Golden Springs, Daniel Todd of Foley, Fred Rucker (Jaime) of Indiana, and Nic Rucker (Sabrina) of Weaver; his grandchildren, William "Billy" Todd and Ashleigh Todd of Golden Springs, Taylor Todd of Oxford, Shannon Todd of Fairhope, Clay Rucker, Tyler Rucker, Trinity Rucker, Alex Rucker, Kierra Daugherty, Addison Rucker, and Deacon Rucker; and a great-grandchild, Kylan.
Geoffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Willam and Janet Todd; a brother, Brian Todd; and a sister, Nancy Todd.
Geoffrey was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and soon after graduating high school he joined the United States Navy, where he became a hospital corpsman. Geoffrey later worked at Regional Medical Center in Anniston in the heart cath lab for 30 plus years.
After retirement he enjoyed his time at home working in his yard, going camping, and being an avid bird watcher. He enjoyed Alabama football and loved a good laugh. He will surely be missed and never forgotten.
