Gary Edward "Bubba" Langston's Obituary
Gary Edward “Bubba” Langston 72 of Oxford, AL went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2023.
A celebration of his life will be January 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Oxford, AL with the Rev. John Sparks officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour before the service.
Bubba is survived by his mother Ethel Langston, sister Judy Sparks (Scott), nephews Christopher Conde (Ashley), Wesley Sparks (Samantha), niece Madison Sparks, great niece Sunlynn Conde and great nephew Thatcher Conde. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Langston, Jr, brother Charles Robert Langston and sister Linda Diane Langston.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Conde, Wesley Sparks, Robert Sparks, Dan Robertson, Jeff Robertson and David Harmon.
Bubba was special needs from birth. His joys in life was his family, especially his mother. He enjoyed wearing hats and would ask anyone he met for a new one. He loved fire trucks, ambulances, sunglasses, drinking Coca Cola’s and taking car rides.
The family of Gary Edward “Bubba”Langston would like to to thank National Healthcare Corporation (NHC) Nursing Home of Anniston for their many years of dutiful service in providing Gary comfort in his life. The family would also like to thank Southern Care Hospice for making Gary's final days comfortable as he made his final steps to being with the Lord.
