Hate to see this. Prayers lifted up for his family. Knew Gary from long ago, been about 4 years since we talked but anytime I seen a Harley I thought of him. And a funny from him. When we first met he had heard of some bad weather around Wedowee and he was wonderingng how close I was from
"Wee do wee"! Jasmine we meet when my daughter was playing softball for Opelika at an Auburn tournament. Been a long, long time ago. I lost my Mom about 3 years ago, it's not easy, something reminds you everyday, but the good memories will fill your heart. You'll have moments, I still do and I'm 65. But his heart and memory will always be with you. Prayers for you sweetie!
There are so many great memories from concerts to 8-ball Deluxe to the NCO Club checking out the local bands. Plus, when it came to jokes and conversations we were always feeding off each other. Because of this, the memory that sticks with me the most is one that got us into a bit of hot water where a harmless joke went sideways, military police were called, there was a line-up, and we both got a Letters of Reprimand for "malicious mischief" from our respective Air Force units. And whenever we were on the phone years after and one of us uttered that phrase, the result was usually a good 5-minute belly laugh.
