Garry J. Houston's Obituary
Garry Houston, 67, of Jacksonville, AL, passed away peacefully November 16 2025, with his loved ones by his side.
Garry was born Aug 30, 1958, to Joe and Betty Houston in Anniston, AL. He was a big sports fan. He loved football and baseball, whether watching little league, college or pro he was excited and enthusiastic for the game.
Left to cherish his memory are his son Kevin Houston, Grandsons Braeden Houston and Lukas Houston, Sisters Gail Thornhill and Susan Nolen, Brother Mike Houston, Niece Holly Hopkinson, and Nephews Jason Thornhill and Jeff Thornhill.
Garry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph (Joe) Houston, mother Betty Sue (Bean) Houston, niece Amber Houston. His life partner Carol Dickerson.
Garry was kind, caring, and loving to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him especially by his son and grandsons who loved him dearly.
