Forrest H. Conaway's Obituary
Forrest H. Conaway, 72, of Anniston Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 surrounded by family and loved ones. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, neighbor and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Forrest is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Sybil Conaway and his sister Jan Conaway Smith.
Left to cherish his memory is Phyllis Conaway Willingham, their daughters; Autumn Conaway (Roger) Key, Ashley Conaway (Patrick) Porteous, his niece Miranda (Taylor) Smith, His four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and a host of family and friends.
Forrest loved all sports but especially basketball. He was an amazing player that learned from his father and grandfather. He enjoyed playing checkers and cards. He was a machinist for 42 years at BAE and took pride in his work. He was hardworking and always provided for his family.
Forrest was polite to everyone he met and he loved all animals. He never wanted to hurt anyone's feelings. Forrest loved to crack jokes and was amazingly funny. he liked to keep to himself and enjoyed alone time.
In accordance with his Forrest's wishes there will be no public service at this time.
