Evie Jean Grizzard Sides' Obituary
Evie Jean Grizzard Sides, age 76, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1949, and was a lifelong resident of Anniston, Alabama. Evie attended Oxford High School and remained deeply connected to her community throughout her life.
Evie was known for her warm heart, her steady kindness, and the love she poured into everything she did. She found joy in gardening, cooking, and working through her favorite crossword puzzles. Above all, she cherished her family, who were truly the center of her world.
She is survived by her two children, Ronald Clayburn and Teresa Willingham; her three grandchildren, Tiffany Neighbors, Dustin Clayburn (Jennifer), and Stephany Cunningham (Gary); five great-grandchildren, Shawna and Joshua Neighbors, Landon Brewer, and Shannon and Bradley Clayburn; two great-great-grandchildren, Dashaun and Mailani Jairrels; as well as many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She is also survived by her three brothers, Doyle (Charlotte) Grizzard, Keith (Doris) Grizzard, and Horace (Donna) Grizzard.
Evie was preceded in death by her parents, Zannie Luella Grizzard and Ira Glenn Grizzard; her sisters, Rita Faith Mosley, Norma Annette Grizzard, and Shirley Ann Grizzard; and her brothers, David Lynn Grizzard, Timothy Ray Grizzard, Charlie Wayne Grizzard, Michael Eugene Grizzard, James Grizzard, and Thomas Grizzard.
Evie Jean Grizzard Sides will be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle spirit, and the legacy she leaves in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family and friends will forever hold her memory close.
