Eugene Owens' Obituary
Eugene Owens, age 82 of Lincoln, passed away on October 28, 2024, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Carter and Rosa Lee Owens; and 2 sisters, Myrtle Simmons and Vera Amerson.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Sue Owens; children, Debra Carr (Tommy), Rick Owens (Angela), Jeff Owens, and Cody Owens (Amanda); 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Ruth Colburn; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Owens was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the USS Liberty. He was a truck driver, which he enjoyed.
