Ed and all of his brothers and sister lived in Blue Mountain with Dean their mom, where most of the Saks bunch lived our best life in the best time possible. We’d get out in the afternoons after school and play softball, football, ride our bikes….during the summer we’d do the very same thing but we’d usually wind up under a big ole shade tree drinking water from someone’s garden hose, then we’d cool off and start up again. Most of us lost touch for a while but we never forgot each other and when we all decided to join FB we reconnected over the years. Ed was one of the funniest guys to be around, always joked about this or that, I told him one day last year when he was on FB that I didn’t know if he was telling the truth or not but it sure was a dang funny story 🤣 We we’re in high school together and I guess that’s the last time I saw him until Covid hit us hard in 2020. We had to run into Sam’s Club for a quick run of necessities and there stood Ed in his overalls in the next aisle over and he said “Angie are you and John not going to speak” I didn’t see him but I heard his voice and immediately knew who he was, he said to me and John (he worked at the Depot and knew John from work) don’t y’all come over here and give me none of that crap everyone has, only he didn’t say it quite that elegantly 🤣 ole Punkin was a one of a kind. I am sure going to miss his FB post and the laughs and knowledge I had when I read them. To the family please accept our deepest condolences for your loss, we are so sorry and our prayers will be with each of you during this difficult time 🙏🕊️️🙏
