Ernest Durell Burk, age 83 of Rock Mills, passed away on August 31, 2025, at Roanoke Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center. He was born August 27, 1942, to Ernest Burk and Hilda Marie Cummings.
Ernest is survived by his children, Chris Burk, Tammy Burk and Lawanda Burk; siblings, Delilah Fetner (Jimmy), Susan Murphy (Mark), Billy Cummings and Ricky Cummings (Sara); and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Burk and Hilda Marie Cummings; son, Lynn Burk; and sister, Rebecca Boyd.
