With heavy hearts and deep love, the family of Eric (Rick) Scott Broadwater announces his passing. Rick was the embodiment of generosity, humor, and devotion. To know him was to feel seen, loved, and welcomed - and to laugh, often until your sides hurt.
Rick was the best husband, father, and grandfather anyone could hope for. His family was the center of his world, and he poured his whole heart into every role he held. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren, creating memories filled with joy, warmth, and his unmistakable sense of humor.
He had a special love for Christmas, a season that seemed to shine a little brighter for him than the rest of us. Whether he was watch Hallmark Christmas movies, decorating, or simply soaking in the magic of the season, Rick brought a childlike wonder to the holidays that made them unforgettable.
A man of many passions, Rick found peace and purpose in working on cars, spending countless hours turning wrenches, solving problems, and sharing his knowledge with anyone eager to learn.
He is preceded in death by his mother (Dixie) and father (Earl).
He is survived by his wife (Hope), his daughters (Jacqui, Rebecca, and Rose), his son (Travis), granddaughters (Serah, Tempy, Freya, Mckinly, Reyna, Natalie), grandsons (Timothy, Thorin, and Aiden), sisters (Sandy, Terri, Jody, Kathy, Tammy), brothers (Mike, Kenny, and Jeff), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rick leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and unwavering family devotion - gifts that will continue to guide and comfort those he loved so dearly. May he rest in peace, forever cherished and never forgotten.
