Elaine Gladys Krue's Obituary
Elaine Gladys Krue, born on February 26, 1941, to Bernice and Lewis Hall, passed away peacefully at her home on January 6, 2026, at the age of 84. Her siblings were John Hall (Jewel), Bill Hall, Marshall Hall (Faye), Ronnie Hall (Linda), and Joan Hall (Danny). She was preceded in death by her late husband Jerome Paul Krue of 59 years and her son Kevin Paul Krue. She leaves behind her son Matthew Jerome Krue (Kimberly) and her grand-daughters Crystal Marie Krue, Kelsey Krue Richardson (Tyler), Molly Jane Krue, and Lily Kate Krue as well as six great-grandchildren Hayden, Dalton, Kenslee, Hank, Matt, and Sonny, whom she adored endlessly.
Elaine spent her early life raising two sons and working in Radiology at the local hospital and private medical office. She remained a long time supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital, as her love for babies and children was exceptional. She wanted her home full of children and she cared for them all with the same love and humanity she showed her own.
Elaine had the honor of spending the late years of her life with her eldest granddaughter by her side. They shared many special memories and moments together with their family. Their bond was uniquely beautiful. Elaine's place at home was deeply treasured by her family.
She will be missed immensely by her nieces and nephews and her best friend Joyce as well as the many friends and family she welcomed in her home and at her dinner table. Elaine read her bible each morning at that same table and often said, "God give me the strength to change the things I can and accept what I can not," and she lived these Christian values boldly, loving unconditionally and giving to many in countless ways. She was fiercely loyal to her family and her warmth comforted many generations through both hardships and happiness.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations go to St. Jude's organization.
