Dorothy "Dottie" Thompson's Obituary
Dorothy "Dottie" Thompson, age 82 of Attalla, formerly of Cullman, passed away on February 19, 2024, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Newton Benjamin Black and Mary E. Black; husband, Bobby Ray Thompson; and daughter, Kimberly Fortier.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her sons, Randall Hudson (Jeanette) and Del Hudson; grandchildren, Adrienne Fortier and Jennifer Fortier; great grandchildren, Haley Fortier and Jancida Dunphy; and sister, Clara Delano.
She was born in Murrey County, Georgia, (Spring Place) on August 5, 1941. She lived most of her life in Cullman, Alabama, before moving to Attalla, Alabama.
