Dorothy Jean Lovelidge's Obituary
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Dot who departed this world on July 25, 2026 at the age of 75.
Dot lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service. She had an adventurous spirit that inspired those around her. Whether she was traveling to many places or simply embracing life's unexpected moments, she approached every adventure with joy, courage, and curiosity.
Her love for the Lord was the foundation of her life. She faithfully shared His love through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering generosity. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand to someone in need, offering encouragement, comfort, and support wherever she could. Her servant's heart touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Above all, Dot treasured her family. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She celebrated their accomplishments, comforted them during difficult times, and filled their lives with unconditional love, wisdom, laughter, and cherished memories and adventures that will be carried forward for generations.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, compassion, adventure, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is survived by her chosen sisters, Janet Price, and Sherry Langley; her children, Butch Lovelidge, Andy Lovelidge and spouse Deborah Hurst; her grandchildren, Baylee Lovelidge-Jennings and husband Anthony, and Keira Lovelidge; and her great-grandchildren, Xander Lovelidge-Lowe, Channing Lovelidge, Alaric Lovelidge-Jennings, and Noah Lovelidge-Jennings, and many chosen children and grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her mother Rita Earp and her father Herman Earp.
A celebration of her life will be held on a date to be announced by family.
Her journey on earth has ended, but her greatest adventure has just begun in the presence of her Savior.
