Dorothy (Peachy) was born in Painted Post, New York. She relocated here to Oxford, Alabama in her early adult life and remined a much loved part of this community the rest of her life. Dorothy was a prominent business owner with her mother which spanned over forty years. The two of them owned and operated "Lylia's Poodle Boutique" and it became very successful and she loved serving the "fur babies" of her customers, neighbors, and friends.
Away from the hustle of business ownership, one of Dorothy's favorite things in the world to do was spend time with her beloved family and countless friends. She loved spending time in her happy place, the beach, particularly Panama City.
Dorothy was the most kind and caring person you would ever want to meet. To know her was to love her, and she was loved by so many people - and also by their pets.
May she always rest in peace.
