Doris Darlene Zachary's Obituary
Doris Darlene Zachary, 61, of Tallapoosa, Georgia passed away at her residence Thursday,
December 25, 2025. She was born March 29, 1964 to the late Steve and Annie Manis Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Diane Goss and Lila Brown, brother Douglas Brown, foster brother Brian Baldwin, foster mom Sheree Baldwin and dear friend Jerome Tidwell.
She leaves behind two sons, Thor Strange of Fort Walton, Florida, and Cody Bennett of Saint Joseph, Missouri, along with her brothers Steven (Charlotte) Brown of Fruithurst, Alabama and Ernest (Debra) Brown of Gadsden, Alabama, foster brother Jason Baldwin of Oxford, Alabama and foster sister Jennifer Baldwin Bush of Oxford, Alabama.
Doris was a member of Arise Community Church and well known for her servant's heart. She was always willing to give and had the desire to help others.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
