Donald Julius Hertrich's Obituary
Donald Julius Hertrich, age 89 of Talladega, passed away on May 2, 2024, at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Hertrich.
Donald is survived by his wife, Connie R. Hertrich; daughter, Cindi Johnston (Lyn); grandchildren, Jeremy Beck, April Galvin (Josh) and Lyndsey Johnson; and great grandchildren, Kylee Jordan, Peyton Jordan, Clayton Johnson, and Brooklyn Johnson.
Mr. Hertrich served in the US Navy for 8 years. After that, he went on to work for NASA in Virginia then the US Army Chemical School. Before his disability, he loved to play golf. Being raised near Chesapeake Bay and then later living on the water in Talladega, he had a passion for the water. He loved his family most of all.
